Minnesota Rail Calendar 2019

The 2019 Minnesota Rail Calendar is now available.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad, the front cover features steam locomotive UP 3985 when it visited Minnesota in 2008. Other images in the 2019 calendar include: Canadian Pacific's Northfield job on the Farmington siding on a cold winter's day, Twin Cities & Western operations in St. Paul in the wintertime, BN GP30 locomotives lead the Grand Rapids local through Carlton, the Amtrak Arrowhead in Minneapolis, Union Pacific 3985 passenger special visits Shakopee, preserved historic locomotives Soo Line 2500 and 2719 pose at Marbles siding, Metro Transit LRVs pass the Minnesota state capitol, C&NW passenger train The 400 in the St. Anthony tower area, a westbound mining engineers passenger special on the BN crosses a wooden trestle between Calumet and Marble, a Northshore Mining empty tailings train is on its way to Silver Bay on a fine autumn day, a westbound MNVA freight train sits at the Hopkins depot, Minnesota Commercial 2002 waits at the Pole Yards in New Brighton on a winter day and DM&IR 163 pulls cars loaded with natural iron ore out of storage at the U.S. Steel plant in Duluth.
